I am insured and first aid certified. You get what you pay for with me. My rates are set so that I can focus on your pets during your booked time. I am huge on communication and will do my best to meet your pets’ needs and routine while you’re away. I respect the amount of trust that comes with leaving part of your family—and maybe your home—in my care, and I take that responsibility seriously.

I’ve had dogs and cats (and a couple of smaller critters here and there) since childhood and understand that pets are family. I currently have four small rescue dogs at home and am active in dog sitting for local friends and rescues. I know how it feels to leave your loved ones in someone else’s care, and I will do everything I can to give you peace of mind and make your fur babies as comfortable and happy as possible.

AVAILABILITY:

My schedule is flexible, and I’ll do my best to work with you around my full-time day job. I’m generally free in the evenings and on weekends, so keep me in mind if you need a night away but want company for your furry housemates. I am happy to stay with your pets overnight and can also make time for daytime check-ins/walks as needed. Be sure to check out my holiday availability as well!

SAFETY, TRUST and ENVIRONMENT:

Your pet’s safety is my priority. I like to chat with you and meet your pet(s) before any scheduled bookings so we’re both on the same page about your instructions and expectations. I also value clear and frequent communication. (That includes pictures and updates of your loved ones while in my care.)

I respect your home as my own and will leave it as clean, secure and maintained as I found it. If you have any house quirks or special instructions, just let me know. I can also give you a quote for cleaning or small projects while you’re away—let’s chat and make your experience as productive as possible!

My husband is my “sidekick” in all things pet care. He generally handles our crew at home while I’m at a booking but may join me at initial Meet and Greets, on walks or bring meals to me during overnights. He maintains all the same standards as I do—and has the same clean background check as well—but I will always be your primary pet caregiver. 😉 If for any reason you prefer that he not interact with your pet or home, please let me know.

ABOUT YOUR PETS:

Meet and Greets are required for all new clients. I’ll come to you if providing services at your home. This is the time to discuss any special needs or preferences you have and make sure your pet(s) and I are a good fit. (If not, that's OK! I will be happy to refer you to another service provider who can better meet your needs.)

A TYPICAL DAY:

We are a high-cuddle home, but I’d love to entertain your pets in whichever way they love best. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as I can, so all info is useful and appreciated. It is always my intention to provide the service you expect, and I appreciate earning the trust of repeat clients.


PLEASE NOTE:

  • I provide all clients with a care questionnaire at booking to make sure we are both on the same page about your pet(s) routines and needs. I ask that all clients review and update their answers as needed before every booking to ensure your most up-to-date instructions are on file. All pets present in the home during a booking must appear on the booking request for liability reasons.
  • I am not able to share responsibilities during bookings in your home for liability and safety. If anyone else needs to be present in your home during a booking, please let me know at the time of the booking request.
  • In case of emergency, all clients should have a local emergency contact on file who is not traveling with you. I also strongly suggest letting your vet know who is watching your pet(s) and arranging a plan with your vet and/or emergency contact to cover any vet bills should they arise during your absence. As a pet care provider, I do not take responsibility for making any bills or payments regarding your pet in your absence.
  • If you book via Rover, all bookings and other communication must be done via the Rover app or Rover-provided phone number. (You may respond in the app itself, via text or via email; these are all sent by Rover.) Please feel free to pass along any cautions or special instructions that I can follow to make your pet as comfortable as possible. Looking forward to meeting your furry family.

Specific service notes:

  • PETSITTING/HOUSE SITTING (in your home): Defined as 12 hours overnight with (if booked) two drop-in visits during the day and 1-2 photo and text updates per 24-hour period, depending on request times. I will spend additional time with your pet(s) when I can, but in order to best accommodate clients and my general work and life responsibilities, please consider these the minimum expectations for a housesitting booking. It's important to communicate your pet's schedule and any special needs they may have related to timing so I can make sure they are as comfortable as possible. If your pet needs 24/7 care (aka constant care), please send me a message to discuss a quote.
  • DROP-IN VISITS (your home/neighborhood): Booked time is based on arrival and departure to your home. For example, if you book a 30-minute walk, that will include entering the home, leashing/unleashing and any other in-home tasks needed in addition to the walk itself. If you book via Rover, photo and text updates for these services are in the form of Rover Cards, which you can view in your Rover account.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

I have a 7-day cancellation policy for all confirmed services. This means that you may cancel or change a booking up until 7 days before the confirmed start time for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancelled or changed bookings after 7 days before the start of a booking or during a booking itself.
